Default Nvidia Quadro FX HELP pls

Hi, I will be building a PC next Jan and will be for architecure purposes (i.e. using CAD, 3D modelling, etc...) + photo editing. Was going to buy the 8800GTX but then found out through forums that the Quardo should do the job not the GTX

So what would you recommend to me to buy. I would like the card to have DirectX 10 but that costs 1,264.95 GBP which would take up almost half my budget

What do you suggest guys.

Quadro's can game, at a pinch, but that isn't what they're made for. I'd be looking at a FX1500, anything else is overkill to be frank for a home pc.

Will set you back around £320.

Tnx Alex. From where could I buy that?? Also I think that I may go for the FX1700 which is the lastest model and thus it has DirectX10. Do you know also from where I could buy this aswell so that I could do some comparission.
