Default network connection turn off every so often

about a week ago and earlier today my network card was unable to connect to my router (just on another room about 2meters away, through a wall) its working fine now everything as it should be. (current stats - signal stregth: excellent/ status: conected/ speed:108.0Mbps)

anyone have any idea what is going on?... when it doesn't work toubleshooters don't work. only thing that seems to fix it (roughly it could just be amazing timing) is unplugging the router for like 30-60 seconds. If there is any information that would be useful to note down leave a post and i'll get it.

anything that is suggested is appreciated.
thanks rob

Mine does the same mate, It seems to be fine when I'm the only one using the network but as soon as my Dad logs in it cuts me out and I have to go downstairs and switch the router off for 30 secs or so.

I was just going to get a network cable and link it directly to the router, I think it will improve the network speed(?) and stop the random disconnecting.

I have had this problem before. Sometimes the router just seems to go on strike.

I just unplugged the router and then plugged it back in again. Resetting it. Works fine then.
